You Don't Know Shit About Mastering Copywriting Yet.

Just like I promised, here is how you can start mastering the skill of Copywriting, No stress!

You just have to create a new hobby by reading other people's copy.

As you learn, you would have to practice what you learn. experience it, write copies and send  it to your friends to check it out, you can send it to me, i am your friend too.

You know I used Danlok video to give you an introductory piece of Copywriting, this man here is also referring to Danlok, he learnt from Danlok, I learnt from Danlok too 😁. So trust me, you are on the right track.

So let's start with the steps.

1. You have to use a swap file:

This swap file will serve as a reference file, you can't just start writing a good copy without looking at something, Where will the inspiration come from?

You can only be inspired to write well from things around you, and Swap files is one of them. 

Same here on this blog, what gives me Inspiration to write the way I do is the video you are watching right now, I used the video above as my Swap file.

You must be looking at something to write well, you must get idea from somewhere and not just staring at a blank page as explained in the video.

You can get Swap files everywhere, Advertisements, YouTube videos, Website Contents, Landing pages, etc.

2. Show people your work:

Don't be shy to display what you have.

You will learn from people's Comment to know if you are going to improve or continue the good work.

Do you know why? Because once upon a time, a junior Copywriter made over $200 a day by sharing a sketch of his work that talked about a remedy for reddish eyes.

He gave some people the sales page he made and told them to leave a comment if the copy is good, but instead of a normal comment, they ended up asking him of the remedy and how much it cost.

That was Genius 😁

Copywriting is powerful, don't play!

3. Convert sales page to email copy:

This is mostly for email copywriters, If you want to be an email copywriter, you can take note of the point given in the video

4. Ruthlessly trim your copy 😁.

People don't have time to read long articles any more, or do you think we are still in the age of Newspaper? 😂

You have to learn how to trim your copy, make it a 2 minutes read.

Pass a simple message with sweet words and you are good to go.

5. Add small talks to your copy.

The reason why you have read up to this point is because I added reality to my copy, I made funny examples 😂.

So mix your words with some entertaining words.

Entertainment is important in everything, that's the reason why every occasion, seminar and events you go to, serious or not serious, there is always room for entertainment.

This is to tell you why people spend their whole day watching entertaining videos online, on Tiktok, YouTube and Instagram.

As a Copywriter, use your precious time to create something people will look at.

The more you scroll through people's content online, you generate revenue for them.
