If you fail at your first trial, you have two more chances left to be among the winners of the challenge in the next batch.

If you answer correctly but didn't submit before the maximum no. of winners exceeds, you have lost one chance of getting your reward for that ticket.

If you submit on time and you are part of the early respondents but didn't get your answers correctly, you have also lost one chance of getting your reward for the ticket too.

Each batch has its own programing language. If a badge comes with your choice of language, feel free to enroll and be well assured that the questions will be purely based on that particular programming language.
