HOW DID YOU GET YOUR FIRST CLIENT?
I got my first client using Google map, I found out brands that are doing poorly in content marketing chatted them up on their provided emails, sometimes I do call them.
HOW MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE AS A GRAPHIC DESIGNER?
I just have 2 years + of experience, I learnt graphic designing for just six months, then I was using my mom's laptop, but I have mine now.
HOW DID YOU GET A NEW LAPTOP?
I saved up money from my first 3 gigs because I charged $5 per design for a start, in those 3 gigs I designed up to 13 ads banner for 3 different companies and at Christmas my uncle completed my budget for the laptop.
WHAT IS THE COST OF YOUR LAPTOP?
I bought my laptop for 520k as of 2022, it's a HP NoteBook Laptop with 348 G5 Intel Core 16GB RAM.
WHAT SOFTWARE DO YOU USE FOR YOUR DESIGNS?
Adobe illustrator and corel draw, I also make motion graphics with WPS Power point because they have more features in them.
HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO CONVINCE YOUR POTENTIAL CLIENTS INTO WORKING WITH YOU?
I don't like sharing my formats but I first connect with them, ask them questions.
Asking them questions is a quicker way to build trust with them and those questions can lead you to discovering their lapses and offering your services as a solution.
