Real facts and ideas

Ella newly acquired the skill of Copywriting after reading Marvins Copywriting Ebook, she set up her profile description in a professional way and waited for the clients to come by magically.

"BUT NONE CAME"

Coming to my DM she said;

Ella:

Good morning Boss, can you please help me with some tips on how to get Copywriting clients?

I have sent over 300 emails last week but no replies yet.

Tutor:

"claps" I am impressed you made a move at first, wether the result is positive or negative, always make an attempt.

Out of those 300, you will see over 10% of replies in the coming week.

Did you even knock on the door before delivering the goodies you have for them?

Ella:

Of course these are online clients, What do you mean by knocking on the door? You didn't teach me this in your tutorial oo.

Oya give me back my money "laughs"

Tutor:

Learning is a continuous process my princess, I let you digest the ones you have first and then come for a second round.

Someone who don't know you and seeing you for the first time talking about a service would not listen to you, even if you have a juicy offer, a stranger is a stranger.

Ella:

When I was small my mom will always tell me not to take things from strangers.

I think same thing applies here too.

Tutor:

Just learn how to make friends online and you can sell anything.

No trust, No sales.

In relationship building, or I would prefer calling it sales networking, there are 3 stages.

Stage 1: Introduction.

Stage 2: Ask them questions and share ideas mixed with small jokes.

Stage 3: Hype their pain.

Stage 4: Recommend your services

Ella:

don't you think this will be too much just to get one person, it sounds stressful.

What if after building the relationship, the prospect don't patronize you at the end, what a waste of time. "sighs"

Tutor:

It becomes stressful when you need urgent cash "laughs"

I never knew I could have over 70 friends in a week by just sharing ideas without having monetary ideas in mind.

When I started benefiting from these friends was after a month when I remembered I had something to offer.

So at times just forget the services you have to offer and just create the network.

Ella:

How can I create this network?

Tutor:

You create strong network by sharing related ideas and giving out values.

If you don't have values to give, just say "hi" to them every morning and bless their day. "Smiles"

Ella:

Wonderful, now it makes sense.

Tutor:

Absolutely 💯

Let's continue the topic another day, go and make friends today online and give me feedback by weekend.
